The Number 11

The number 11 has been linked to mystery and power since ancient times. All forms of number research and
study, including Numerology, the ancient science of Gematria, and the secret wisdom of Kabbalah, all give
significant importance to 11, and 11 derivatives - 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, and 99.

The number 11 is considered a master number.

The first Great War, World War 1, ended on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month. To this day, victims and veterans are remembered at that specific time. In Tolkein's The Lord of the Rings, the number 11
is described as a curious number, and reaching your 111th birthday is an event. The USA skipped sequencenumbers on the Apollo moon missions to ensure it was Apollo 11 that landed on the moon. In ancient EgyptKing Tutankhamen's tomb had combinations of 11 in the jewelry he wore, and he had 11 oars placed on the
floor surrounding his tomb. The number 11, and particularly the number 33, have significance to Freemasons, and other secretive groups.

In addition, there have been thousands of people worldwide who have recently expressed a strong feelingtowards 11. This has been widely reported for the last 5-10 years, and is now commonly referred to asthe 11:11 experience, referring to the time of 11:11.

The overwhelming quantity of elevens, surfacing from the events, people, and places related to the 9-11-2001
attacks, is remarkable. It is as if someone planned the events to occur around the number eleven. If it wasnot planned, then the coincidence of the numbers, seems even more mysterious and improbable.

THis is an example I found out the article about coincident of number and my little questioning of 11march2011. Our world is full of mystery. Or we are controled by unvisible coincident or any other planet or existence or just power of nature.
(Article)
Carl Jung, like many people who have experienced an uncanny pairing of events, did not think such happenings are mere coincidence. He developed the notion of synchronicity to explain "meaningful coincidences." He described synchronicity as an acausal principle that links events having a similar meaning by their coincidence in time. However, if you think of all the pairs of things that can happen in a person's lifetime and add to that our very versatile ability of finding meaningful connections between things, it then seems likely that most of us will experience many meaningful coincidences. The coincidences are predictable and we are the ones who give them meaning. Given the fact that there are billions of people and the possible number of meaningful coincidences is millions of billions, it is inevitable that many people will experience some very weird and uncanny coincidences every day.

Finally, clusters of coincidences can seem designed or the result of a preordained pattern to someone who is very selective in his thinking, such as Uri Geller. After the anti-American terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, Geller posted his thoughts on the number 11. He asked everyone to pray for eleven seconds for those in need. Why? He was convinced that there was a cryptic, numerological message in the events that occurred that day. In fact, he admits that he has had a long-term relationship with the number 11. He thinks that 11 "represents a positive connection and a gateway to the mysteries of the universe and beyond." But here is what he had to say about the terrorist attack and how 11 relates to this day of infamy:

Geller's Mysterious Number 11

So I check about the number 11. Then I found out very interesting fact. (Nyfiken)

If a number is divisible by 11, so is its reverse.Another test for divisibility is to separate a number into groups of two consecutive digits (adding a leading zero if there is an odd number of digits), and then add up the numbers so formed; if the result is divisible by eleven, the number is divisible by eleven. For instance, if the number is 65,637, 06 + 56 + 37 = 99, which is divisible by eleven, so 65,637 is divisible by eleven. This also works by adding a trailing zero instead of a leading one: 65 + 63 + 70 = 198, which is divisible by eleven. This also works with larger groups of digits, providing that each group has an even number of digits (not all groups have to have the same number of digits).

An easy way of multiplying numbers by 11 in base 10 is: If the number has:

1 digit - Replicate the digit (so 2 x 11 becomes 22).
2 digits - Add the 2 digits together and place the result in the middle (so 47 x 11 becomes 4 (11) 7 or 4 (10+1) 7 or (4+1) 1 7 or 517).
3 digits - Keep the first digit in its place for the result's first digit, add the first and second digits together to form the result's second digit, add the second and third digits together to form the result's third digit, and keep the third digit as the result's fourth digit. For any resulting numbers greater than 9, carry the 1 to the left. Example 1: 123 x 11 becomes 1 (1+2) (2+3) 3 or 1353. Example 2: 481 x 11 becomes 4 (4+8) (8+1) 1 or 4 (10+2) 9 1 or (4+1) 2 9 1 or 5291.
4 or more digits - Follow the same pattern as for 3 digits.
In base 10, 11 is the smallest integer that is not a Nivenmorphic number.

In base thirteen and higher bases (such as hexadecimal), eleven is represented as B, where ten is A. In duodecimal, however, eleven is sometimes represented as E and ten as T.

Eleven is a Størmer number, a Heegner number, and a Mills prime.

There are 11 orthogonal curvilinear coordinate systems (to within a conformal symmetry) in which the 3-variable Helmholtz equation can be solved using the separation of variables technique.

Eleven of the thirty-five hexominoes can be folded to form cubes. Eleven of the sixty-six octiamonds can be folded to form octahedra.

In the Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences, the partition function is (sequence A000041 in OEIS). The fraction of elements in this sequence that are multiples of eleven is far higher than the one-eleventh that one would expect.

According to David A. Klarner, a leading researcher and contributor to the study of polyominoes, it is possible to cut a rectangle into an odd number of congruent, non-rectangular polyominoes. Eleven is the smallest such number, the only such number that is prime, and the only such number that is not a multiple of three.
